The guitar is epoxied to a stand that was made by cutting three pieces for varying sizes and tack fusing them into the stand

The butterflies are kiln-casted and installed  with nesting standoffs

The artistic process:  first the wispy blacks and whites along with clear glass are combined into a spirit glass

Serenity dragonfly The guitar is epoxied toInspiration: the serenity of meditating while out in nature on a hike by myself. Artistic Inspiration:. Based on a design I sketched, I selected and cut glass into the layout. After capping with a circle of clear, it was fired to a full fuse. I added embellishments and fired to tack them on with texture. It is installed in a black round frame on a stand. Dimensions: 9. 5" wide x 10. 5" tall x 3. 25" deep
