“Sullivan’s Island” Art Built during 18th and 19thSullivans Island is a two and a half mile long barrier island near the entrance of the Charleston Harbor. It was settled in the late 17th century by Captain Florence OSullivan. It was the site of a major Revolutionary War battle, The Battle of Sullivans Island. Its my favorite place to go for a walk and watch the sunset!
