namatjira NikeA This flower is fired twiceI explored Australia and painted this piece after returning. It's inspired by the colors I encountered and named after the artist and the first Aboriginal person to receive Australian citizenship in 1957. I experienced sunsets, jungles and oceans. A lot of inspiration comes from the museums which are filled with artworks created by the Indigenous people, who otherwise receive no space in their society. 70x100, oil and acrylic, 2025 Kalle Loebbert
